GINNY KUHEL

With over two decades of experience in human resources most of which was in corporations as a Human Resources Director, I began my private practice specializing in assisting small and mid-size companies with 1 – 50 employees. I enjoy handling all those HR needs and concerns that most business owners get frustrated with or do not have ample time in their busy days to handle. Maneuvering through the California landmine of labor laws and regulations can be daunting. My expertise in this area supports owners in staying compliant and avoiding costly labor lawsuits.

I work with companies that do not have have a designated HR professional. The value I bring to the small business owner is that for a few hours either weekly or bi-monthly, they have an HR expert on site. There is a centralized system for handling all of the personnel concerns, labor law compliance issue, recruitment and training.

My specialty is working with the trade businesses and service industries such as, construction, landscape, restaurants, painters, roofers and retail. With previous experience in this background, I am adept at listening to the laborers concerns, needs and problems plus providing the right solutions for the organization and employees.

One of my passions is teaching. I provide executives and employees interactive, fun and educative training in Sexual Harassment/Hostile Work Environment (required training in CA), Small Business Labor Law Requirements, Bridging the Communications Gap, Leaders vs Managers , Engagement of Employees, Motivational Techniques and Career Development. Also, I work with at- risk teens and formerly incarcerated individuals providing guidance, support and classes in interviewing skills, resume writing, presentation techniques, self esteem and strength building.

As a dedicated, caring and compassionate person,  I truly care about your employees and your business.
Let me handle your HR needs, so you can concentrate on building your business.
